What a Fabulous Christmas Party!

It was a bitterly cold December night but that couldn’t stop members converging on the Imperial Hotel Blackpool for the BFWFCO 2009 Christmas Party and what an impressive party it was. All the ladies in their beautiful gowns and the gentlemen looking as though they had just stepped out of the tailors window display. The children were a credit to their parents both in their appearance and behaviour. More than twenty tables accommodating ten guests with waiters attending to make sure everyone had a generous helping from the fine buffet. In fact there was so much food we were invited to go back for seconds.
The entertainment was kept flowing by a DJ ably assisted by Ronnie and Luzvi. A star raffle with 1st prize of a TV set, a 2nd prize of a laptop computer and 3rd prize of a Wii plus numerous consolation prizes has surely set the bar high for future events. Congratulations to the lucky winners. A massive thank you to all the organisers and please make sure that you buy your tickets early for next years event because they will surely sell out quickly.
